It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Waltner (Parker, South Dakota), who passed away on September 1, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Waltner and Verda Waltner (Kaufman) of Hurley, SD.; his wife Kay; his brother Lonnie; his sister-in-law Mary Waltner; his sibling's children, Melissa Waltner and Lee Waltner; and his siblings-in-law, Jack Handwerk, Bob Handwerk and Bernice Aspley.

He is survived by: his children, Delryn Waltner (Carleen), Marlyn Waltner (Leslie) and Charlynn Hay (Darin) of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Brianna, Austin Waltner (Delryn), Layne Hoium (Blake), Alex (Aly), Cedric Hay (Allie), Morgan (Ben), Kahler (Charlynn), Hudson, Lux, Sutton (Hay), Kamryn, Brooks (Hoium), Emmett, Kelby and Addilyn (Kahler); and his sister Karen Wiebe (Jim) of Beatrice, NE.

Larry had requested no flowers, and memorials may be directed to Hope Haven.
