With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Rand of Parker, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 18, 2025 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by: her parents, Heiko Poppenga and Gunda Poppenga; her brother Reggie Poppenga; her husbands, Merle Berens and Larry Rand; her parents-in-law, Marlyn and Carol Rand; her son Terry Berens; and her grandson Gerard Muller.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jane Hertel (Harvey) and Dawn Muller (Paul); her sister Eunice Schultz; her grandchildren, Taya Runge (Kurt), Tiffeny Keller (Dana), Tessa Hertel (Ryan Guericke), Kyle Berens (Breanna), Megan Feist (Matt) and Orson Muller; and her great grandchildren, Valerie Runge, Tevin Keller, Brinlee Keller and Avery Berens. She is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
