He was predeceased by : his parents, Ole Chris and Hazel H. Goodhope (Woodward); his wife Roberta P. Lange; his son Dr. Robert Chris Goodhope; and his sisters, Eloise, Merilyn and Meredith Jeanne.

He is survived by : his children, Roberta "Bunny" Nelson (Richard), Robin Mofle (Doug), Rebecca Johnson (Kevin) and Randy Goodhope (Phil); his grandchildren, Dr. Michael Goodhope (Lynette), Angela Goodhope, Cinda Cuthberson (Tim), Dr. Nicholas Goodhope (Leah), Jennifer Schultz (Mike), Katy Nelson, Jesse (Sara), Sam, Rob Mofle (Kim), Cole (Mel) and Hazelin Johnson (Casey); his great grandchildren, Auralia Entingh (Mason), Kennedy, Gillian Goodhope, Forrest Orman, Lochlan Schultz and Augustus Johnson; his great great grandchild Robert Entingh; his daughters-in-law, Diane Goodhope and Suzi Goodhope; his sisters, Yvonne Holt, Coryill Weeg (Don) and Sheryl Christensen (Dennis); and his siblings-in-law, Charles Larsen and Leona Seim. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
