She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Jones and Leona Jones (Smith); her husband Peter Gortmaker; her son Donald; her son-in-law Ed Highfill; and her siblings, Dale "Doc" Jones (Eloise), Ellen Berg (Arthur), Arlene Gates and Marilyn Davis (Jerry).
She is survived by : her daughters, Gwen Highfill of Richmond, TX, Teri LaVelle (Peter Nied) and Karen Hofer (Marwin) of Sioux Falls, SD; her grandchildren, Sarah, Ciara, Amanda, Brooklyn and Mitchell; her great grandchildren, Finley, Caidan, Eden and Vance; and her sister Bettie Larsen (Gene).
