We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2023, at the age of 88, Delbert Mattheis of Parkston, South Dakota, born in Delmont, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Rudy Mattheis and Gertrude Mattheis; his former life partner Elaine Winter; his brother Bob; and his son James.

He is survived by : his wife Sheila; his children, Kathy Pietz (Ron), Vicky Leazer (Dave), Scott (Teresa), Becky Newman (Greg), Paul (Traci), David (Mary) and Renae Smith (Steven); his grandchildren, Aaron, Danielle, Melissa, Jennifer, Kim, Amanda, Kailea, Ryne, Dana, Jordan, Gregory, Sean, Chandler, Trevor, Matt, Alex, Megan and Reed; and his great grandchildren, Noah, Carsen, Jazzlynn, Jaxon, Julianna, Meah, Dezi, Kinley, Joslyn, Colton, Noelle, Asher, Silas, Cadence and Titus.
