He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Leischner and Ida Leischner (Wuertzer); and his stepson Gordon Walz. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Walz; his sister Elaine Tiede (Jerry) of Mitchell; his daughter-in-law Debra Walz of Mitchell; his stepson Glenn Walz (Elissa) of Mitchell; his grandchildren, Dillon Walz, Hailey Johnson (Aaron), Olivia Walz and Madison Walz; and his great grandchildren, Charlee and Nora Johnson.
