He is survived by: his wife Kathie Weight; his sons, Tim Weight (Dawn) of Brookings and Patrick Weight (Amy) of Flandreau; his grandchildren, Walter, Gus, Daphne and Sybil; and his sister-in-law Gladys Weight of Bismarck. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
