He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Boehmer and Martha Boehmer (Nuebel); his wife Lenora Hoff; his son Dennis; his grandson Jeremiah; his great grandchildren, Gabriel, James and Thea; and his siblings, Norbert Boehmer, JoAnn Omafray and Donna Mae Bodine.
He is survived by: his children, James Boehmer (JoAnn) of Parkston, Diane Wermers (Larry) of Rapid City, SD, Mark Boehmer (Gina) of Sherrard, IL and Joel Boehmer (Kimberly) of Parkston; his siblings, Mariella Boehmer and Norman Boehmer; his sister-in-law Mary Boehmer; and his daughter-in-law Sally Boehmer of Dimock. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren.
