He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Boehmer and Dorothy Boehmer (Fergen); and his brother Dennis Boehmer. He is survived by: his wife Gina of Parkston; his children, Kyle Boehmer (Tiffany) of Parkston, Shelby Thuringer (Jimmy) of Parkston and Lindsey Porch (Wade) of Martin, SD; his grandchildren, Tinlee, Briggs, Mia, Lennyx, Jhett, Wendlin and Alena; and his siblings, Deb Boltjes (Jeff) of Ellsworth, MN and Dan Boehmer (Connie) of Dimock, SD..
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Salem Lutheran Church (301 S 1st St, Parkston, SD 57366). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
