He is survived by: his parents, Mary Jane (Wudel) and Francis Mechtenberg of Parkston, SD; his daughter Jessica Mechtenberg of Minneapolis, MN; and his siblings, Kenneth Mechtenberg (Beverly) of Harrison City, PA, Barbara Mechtenberg Ruffinott (Robert) of Yankton, SD and Susan Reicks (Roger) of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
