We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2025, at the age of 68, James Arnold Scott of Parmelee, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril Scott and Joann Didier-Wright; his siblings, Shantel Scott-Buck, Donnita Scott, Virgilena Wright, Will Scott and Sidney Wright; his daughter Kaylor Scott; and his grandson John Antelope Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Linda Scott; his children, Jada DeCory (Rick), Cassi Perzinski (Joe), Anthony Scott (RuthAnn), Shawnda Scott, Jennifer Esquiro (Kayla), Matthew Schneider, Louis'Billy'Scott, Kaylee Soldier Wolf, Donnita'Tiny'Scott, Kallie Scott, Kaelyn Scott and Myleigh Scott; and his grandchildren, Clinton Spotted Tail, Tahlia DeCory, Austin Silk of Anthony, AJ, Scott Jr., Merial Scott, Neomiah Scott, Nadiyah Levin, Shaysi Jaye Scott, Liam Scott, Tyler Perzinski, Kayden Esquiro, Kailen Campbell, Saylor Janis, Nathon, Maurisa, Tennyson, Preston and Kaidon Little Lights. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Sgu Multipurpose Building (101 Antelope Lk Cir, Mission, SD 57555). A wake was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM and on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
