He is survived by: his children, Erin Genia of Northberwick, Heather Genia of Olympia, WA, David Genia Jr. of Poplar, MT and Thomasina Knight of Sisseton, SD; and his siblings, James Genia Sr. (Kathy) of Veblen, SD, Melvin Genia (Gay) of Veblen, SD, Michael Genia (Sherry) of Agency Village, SD, Judith Hicks of Sparks, NV and Mary Goette (Mike) of Browns Valley, MN. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
