Solomon Shepherd Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Solomon Shepherd of Peever, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 9, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Solomon Ole Shepherd and Victoria Barker-Seaboy-Shepherd; his siblings, Hildreth, Edna, Madeline, Della, Moses, Gideon, Magnus and Joseph; and his siblings' children, Alan Shepherd and Gail.
He is survived by: his nephews, Delmer and Darwin Bernard; and his sister Sophronia Crawford. He is also survived by nephews, nieces and numerous grandchildren.
A wake was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Sisseton Wahpeton Tribal Community Center (12554 BIA Highway 711, Agency Village, SD 57262). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM and at 2:00 PM.
