He was predeceased by : his parents, Elton Archie and Ida Merl Archie (Machen); his brothers, James, Lewis and Leonard Archie; and his brother-in-law Dale Hendrickson.

He is survived by : his wife Linda; his children, Kerry Hostutler (Glen David) of Midland and Jerry "JD" Archie (Tonia Maher) of Loveland, Colorado; his grandchildren, Kelsey McDaniel (Tucker), Katie Hostutler, Hanna Hostutler and Jesse Hostutler; his great grandchildren, Kasen Hostutler and Graylyn McDaniel; and his sister Alice Hendrickson of Rapid City. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
