She was predeceased by : her parents, Carroll Ourkerk and Susan Van Ourkerk; her siblings, Norma Lobdell, Robert Van Ourkerk, Flora Rice, Marian Svilar, Calvin VanOurkerk, Donald Van Ourkerk and Virginia Fitzgerald; and her granddaughter Casey Eleeson.

She is survived by : her husband Duane Eleeson; her children, Linda and Bruce (Ginger Tait); her brother William VanOurkerk; her grandchildren, Kerry Held, Amy Taylor (Matt), Joshua Upton, Kelli Eleeson and Autumn Tidwell; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Camden Held, Samantha, ZachTaylor and Joshua Upton.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 5th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the United Church (105 Howard Ave, Philip, SD 57567). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
