We are sad to announce that on August 18, 2019, Marjorie Persons (Philip, South Dakota), born in Highmore, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Orville Kiel. She is survived by : her siblings, Loren Kiel of Philip, SD, Dolores Johnson of Livermore, CA and Fred Kiel of Lanesboro, MN; her daughters, Larene DeVine of Hopatcong, NJ and Denise Parker of Rogersville, TN; her sons-in-law, Kevin and John; and her grandchildren, Alex, Jessalyn, Seth, Robin, Sean and James.

Marjorie -- known variously as "Marge," "Marnie," or "GramMarge," depending on whom you asked – lived 88 delightful years, traveling the world as a music educator before succumbing to Alzheimer's on August 18, 2019 in Elizabethton, Tennessee.
