It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phil Carley of Philip, South Dakota, born in Rapid City, South Dakota, who passed away on September 28, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Merrill Carley and Teresa Carley (Haley); his brother-in-law Dave Schroeder; and his parents-in-law, Frank and Mildred O'Grady.
He is survived by : his brothers, Ryan, Ira and Jon; his wife Karen of Milesville; his children, Angelia Shields (David) of Blunt, Joe Carley (LaRae) of Philip, Jon Carley (Ruth) of Blunt, Andrea Aaberg (Allen) of Milesville and Abby Jacobs (Mark) of Spearfish; and his sister Merrilyn Schroeder of Fulshear, TX. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
