He was predeceased by: his mother Amy Lorraine Hurtado Sowards (Wiedemer); his stepfather Raymond Sowards; his grandparents, Wayne and Darlene Wiedemer; his great-grandparents, Virgil and Lorraine "Bunny" Green; and his stepsiblings, Lawrence Sowards, Lenny Sowards, Wayne Sowards, Amy Ann Hurtado, Cindy Guffey and Marlene McGruder.
He is survived by: his father Clint James Hurtado; his sons, Anthony of Fort Pierre, SD, Jared of Fort Pierre, SD and Landen Henrickson (Holly Millard) of Fort Pierre, SD; his stepmother Verna Hurtado of Sheridan, WY; his siblings, Justin Hurtado (Veronica) of Colome, SD, Jason Sowards (Amanda) of Henry, SD, Brandy Gattie of Fort Pierre, Heidi Sowards (Jeffrey Springer) of Sioux Falls, SD and Lacy Sowards (Tyler Jensen) of Sioux Falls, SD; and his stepsiblings, Marvin Sowards, Craig Meader, Daniel Hurtado, Berdina Langdea, Anna Dennis, Marie Thayer and Amanda Hurtado. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
