We are sad to announce that on November 24, 2025, at the age of 95, Donald Fickbohm of Pierre, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Fickbohm and Alveda Fickbohm (Peterson); his wife Joan Anderson; and his children, Marlin and Suzanne.
He is survived by: his children, Alan (Darla Fickbohm) and Michelle (Duane Stanley); his grandchildren, Matthew, Heather Fickbohm of Fort Pierre, SD, Elizabeth, James Lindquist of Hettinger, Kyran, Nathan Kackmeister of Hot Springs, SD and Joshua Stanley of Hot Springs, SD; his great grandchildren, Jaina, Willard, Evie Fickbohm, Ryder and Hunter Lindquist; and his siblings-in-law, Marcella Anderson of Sioux Falls, SD and Leland (Sandra Anderson).
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the George Boom Funeral Home (3408 E 10th St, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
