He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollister Hemmelman and Jane Hemmelman (Powell); and his siblings, Margaret, Gwen, Phyllis, Helen and Donald.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael of Reno, NV, Mark of Rapid City, Keith (Barb) of Pierre, Brian of LaPorte, MN and Scott (Shawna) of Kalispell, MT. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
