He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Reinhold and Laura Bell Patzer (Shepherd); and his brother Ricky Patzer. He is survived by: his brother Ricky Ray; his daughter Shelly Patzer of Pierre; his siblings, Connie Fuller (Bob) of Redlands, CA and James Patzer (Becky) of Fort Pierre; and his former wife Phyllis. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A prayer was held on Sunday, May 10th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Liscombe Building (414 N Madison Ave, Pierre, SD 57501). A memorial service was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Seventh Day Adventist Church (1220 E Robinson Ave, Pierre, SD 57501).
