He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustaf Allan Johnson and Pauline Ione Woods Johnson; and his wife Ruth Ann. He is survived by: his children, Beaba and Gary (Carol); his close friend Marcy Fifield; and his daughter Barbara Lynn Terce (Beaba). He is also survived by six grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Feigum Funeral Home (808 W Pleasant Dr, Pierre, SD 57501). A masonic service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church (117 N Central Ave, Pierre, SD 57501).
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Yelduz Shriners Children's Hospital or Hospice at Home in Pierre, Sd.
