He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Charles Gregory and Mildred Thelma Gregory (Schweizer); and his pet Grump. He is survived by: his wife Susan Gardner; his former wife Susan Gregory; his children, Mandy Waxler (Jay), Ryan Gregory, Taaron Hopper (Lenny) and Jessica Brennan (Seth); his sisters, Melinda Gregory and Shelley Carroll (Duane); and his grandchildren, Katelyn Waxler, Gavin Hopper, Anthony Gregory, Megan Haukaas, Dillon Haukaas and Ethan Hopper. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Trinity Episcopal Church (408 N Jefferson Ave, Pierre, SD 57501). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
