He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold O. Stephens and Kathryn M. Stephens (Vaughn); his brothers, Ray, Glen and Kenny; and his sister-in-law Shirley.
He is survived by: his wife Milly Roy (Mildred); his children, Bill Stephens (Kelly) of Monticello, MN, Kathy Keeler (Al) of Watertown, SD and Karen Ward (Randy) of Pierre, SD; his grandchildren, Megan Rolla, Jonathon Ward, Chelsey Ward, Justin Mondloch, Mathew Stephens (Aliyah), Mandy Jensen (Brent), Ben Stephens and Rachel Ward; and his siblings, Paul Stephens and Nancy Hill. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
