He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Nielsen and Mary Ann Nielsen; and his father-in-law William Hershly. He is survived by: his wife Barb; his children, Daniel (Alisa) and Lacy Fike (Brian); his granddaughters, Jaelynn and Ellie; his siblings, Christie Zander (Paul), Mark Nielsen (Sheryl) and James Nielsen (Sharon); his mother-in-law Marilyn Hershly; and his siblings-in-law, Brent Hershly (Heidi) and Brenda Stadel (Mark). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
