With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Bessert of Pierre, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 25, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clay Masino and Blanch Masino (Yuston); her husband Beryle Bessert; and her siblings, Cecil, Charles, Gladys and Thelma.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbara of Pierre; and her sisters, Rose, Betty and Lorraine. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
