He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Scares The Hawk; his siblings, Patricia LaBeau, Dawn Scares The Hawk, Mary Scares The Hawk, Alice Laroche and Jimmy Scares The Hawk; and his granddaughter Maegan Callahan.
He is survived by: his wife Candace Scares The Hawk; his children, Michael Scares The Hawk, Samie McCauley, Jesse Scares The Hawk, Joelle Scares The Hawk, Christian Scares The (CJ) and Cassie Scares The Hawk; and his siblings, Chris, Iris Scares The Hawk, Margie Scares The Hawk and Hunka (Hunka). He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
