She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Tail and Deloris Sierra; her sisters-in-law, Carol Hornbeck and Lucy Lone Elk; her uncles, Clevland Tail, Al Tail and Freddy Tail; her pet Wounded Arrow; her nephew Brandon Wounded Arrow; and her grandchildren, Jeremiah Perez (Remi), Hoka Yellow Cloud, Joe, Frank Brave, Vonda Bianas and Quinten Lone Elk.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis Lone Elk of Rapid City, SD; her children, Hailey Tail (Hunter Salway) of Rapid City, SD, Brandi Red Owl of Rapid City, SD, Tristen Tail and Anthony Tail; her grandsons, Tristen of Rapid City, SD and Kordelle Running Hawk Jr. of Rapid City, SD; her sisters, Carla Lisa Cheyenne of Rapid City, SD and Theresa Blue Bird of Rapid City, SD; her aunts, Florence Sierra of Batesland, SD, Corrine Sierra of Batesland, SD, Margarette Sierra of Rapid City, SD, Betty Watters of Pine Ridge, SD, Arletta Wounded Arrow of Rapid City, SD and Loretta Sierra of Yankton, SD; her brother Brandon Sierra of Rapid City, SD; her in-laws, Dawn Lone Hill of Arizona and Marletta Soldier Wolf of Porcupine, SD; her uncles, Leo Swallow of Denver, CO, Eddie McKenny-Swallow of Kansas City and Archie Sierra; and her son Perez III. She is also survived by her friends and family and loving husband.
A wake will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Evergreen Community Center. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
