He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bad Wound and Agnes Bad Wound (Fire Thunder); and his siblings, Jimmy Charles Bad Wound, Marvin Bad Wound and Mary Ann Bad Wound.
He is survived by: his children, Tori Bad Wound-Moore and John Bad Wound; his sister Ella Day Richards; his grandchildren, Aubrey Lynn Bad Wound, Isabelle Day Bad Wound, Kailah Bad Wound-Moore, Kiely Moore, Levi Senior and Margaret Osborne; his uncle Russell Whirlwind Horse; and his nieces and nephews, Peter Donovon Senior, Jaime Berlynn Senior, Antoinette Poafabitty, Gayla Loafer and Patty Bad Wound. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, & cousins.
