He is survived by: his wife Olivia Sierra; his children, Socorro Sierra, Michael John Sierra, Sr., Wanbli Johnson, Jesse Dean Sierra, Shaun Ray Sierra and Mary Frances Sierra; and his siblings, Joann Sierra, Sharon Katherine Sierra, Kharon Kathleen Garica, Felicita Sierra, Henny Whalen, Susan Roan Eagle and Robert Sierra. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, & cousins.
