It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Latasha Lynn Rodriquez (Pine Ridge, South Dakota), born in Rapid City, South Dakota, who passed away on May 18, 2022, at the age of 36, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Eli Rodriquez; her brother Jeremy P. Steele; her grandparents, Cecilia White, Glenn Rodriquez and Virgil Surrounded, Sr.; and her great-grandparents, Lucy and Titus Chasing.

She is survived by: her parents, Robert Steele and Glenda Rodriquez-Godfrey; her daughter Echo Lucy Marie Sowers; her siblings, Jeremiah, Misty R. Rodriquez, Ashley Rodriquez, Lacey Steele, Michael Rodriquez, Sylvan Godfrey, Jr., Estella Dreamer and Buster Steele; her grandmother Marjorie Surrounded; and her uncle Eli Little Spotted Horse.
