It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monica Wynne Tyon (Pine Ridge, South Dakota), who passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Ben Tyon; her son Charles Goodman-Tyon; her sister Bayonne Rose Tyon; her grandparents, George, Sarah Tyon (Little Bear), Delbert Conroy and Cecelia Bagola; her uncles, Wayne Bagola and Fred Bagola, Sr.; her niece Michelle Pourier; and her nephews, Toby Eagle Bull, Tevin Tyon and Juan Lamont.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Episcopal Church (51 US-18, Pine Ridge, SD 57770). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at the Advent Cemetery.
