She was predeceased by: her spouse Hamilton "Bob" Woodard; her parents, Jacob Peters and Ora Peters (DuBray); her siblings, Richard Peters, Amelia Peters and Renee Peters; and her grandmother Eva Jane DuBray (Hopkins).
She is survived by: her children, Vincent Peters, Cherie Peters (Keith McClain) of Rapid City, SD and Katherine Williams (Bennett Kelly) of Rapid City, SD; her grandchildren, Virgil Peters (Delenna Kerr), Christopher Peters, Richard Peters, Miquela Peters (Michael Sharpe), Taylin Peters, Aliyah Peters, Kyra Williams and Sylvia Williams; her great grandchildren, Roman Sisneros, Rosalie Peters, Hamilton Peters and Virgil Peters, Jr.; and her siblings, Donnie Peters (Sandra) of Rapid City, SD, Will Peters (Lena) of Pine Ridge, SD, Judy Peters of Lincoln, NE, Betty Peters of Martin, SD and Annette Peters of Rapid City, SD. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
A wake will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM and on Thursday, November 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the American Horse School. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Black Hills National Cemetery (20901 Pleasant Valley Dr, Sturgis, SD 57785).
