He was predeceased by: his father Verdell Red Cloud, Sr.; his son Derek Red Cloud, Sr.; his siblings, Leonard Red Cloud, Marvin Red Cloud, Sr., Ella Red Cloud and George Yellow Horse, Sr.; and his grandparents, Vienna, Chief Oliver Red Cloud and Helen Red Cloud.
He is survived by: his mother Sylvia Red Cloud; his daughters, Patricia Red Cloud, Lashanda Red Cloud, Kimberly Red Cloud and Vienna Red Cloud; his siblings, Mike, Richard Red Cloud, Donna Ross, Linda Red Cloud and Candy Red Cloud; his aunts and uncles, Linda, JoAnn, Guy Red Cloud, Marty Red Cloud and Paul Red Cloud; his cousin Brenda Peres; and his grandchildren, Perez, Suzie Red Cloud, Amy Wilson, Angie Big Crow, Robert, Mary Jo, Charlie Red Cloud, Vanessa Red Cloud, Kevin Red Cloud, Donovan Red Cloud, Skyler Red Cloud and Derek Red Cloud, Jr.. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
