She was predeceased by : her parents, Karle Lyon (Cy) and Mercedes Lyon; her parents-in-law, John Jira, Bessie Van Essen and Rose Mary Jira; and her siblings-in-law, Margie Crowe, Sam Crowe and Janell Lyon.

She is survived by : her husband Marv; her children, Jay Jira (Cheryl) of Hartford, SD, Jody Marone (Dave) of Pukwana, SD, Jackie Paulsen (Darren) of Rapid City, SD and Jamie O'Brien (Tom) of Winter Springs, FL; her grandchildren, Jacey Jira (Wade Schoenfelder), Zane Jira, Rich Marone (Jayden Leiseth), Megan Marone, Dawson Paulsen (Katherine Garrett), Dreyson Paulsen, Kylie O'Brien and Patrick O'Brien; and her brother Tom Lyon. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Plankinton.
