He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Stiefvater and Velma Stiefvater (Hopkins); his son Ricky; his daughter-in-law Ronna (Snyder); his sister Norma Jean; his sister-in-law Kirsten Blem; and his brother Edwin.
He is survived by: his wife Rose-Maria; his sons, Robert Jr. Stiefvater (Ruth) of Durham, NC and Kenneth (Jason Knezel) of Denver, CO; and his brother Larry (Virginia Ayers) of Evanston, IL. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Aurora County Cancer Fund.
