She is survived by: her husband Dennis DeHaan of Bob's Café; her children, Denice Samuelson (Bill), Lee DeHaan (Jonna) and Robby DeHaan (Joely); her grandchildren, Tyler Samuelson (Katy), Andrew Samuelson (Lorraine), Chelsie Reddick (Ken) and Kobi Ringling (Austin); her sons, Anthony DeHaan (Josie), Spencer DeHaan (Whitney), Trey DeHaan (Ashley) and Kordell DeHaan (Ramsey); her great grandchildren, Emma, Ivy and Hattie Samuelson; her grandchildren, Austin Plooster (Taylor), Cassidy Hickey (Lane), Rylee, Ryker, Remie, Rynlee Reddick, Hayes, Alli, Jackson Ringling, Audrey, Zoey, Maley, Sasha, Indey DeHaan, Adrian, Carsynn, Bexley (Timmerman), Thielen DeHaan, Logyn, Bayker DeHaan and Benson DeHaan; her great great grandchild Brecklynn; her siblings, Carol Kuiper, Ricky Plooster (Bobbi), Rodney Plooster (Susanne) and Rhonda Frandsen (Nick); and her in-laws, Diane King (Marcus), Tom DeHaan (Sara Kraft) and Julie Hill (Gary). She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the First Reformed Church (101 Main St, Platte, SD 57369). A prayer was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Platte City Cemetery.
