She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Mika and Mary Mika (Fitzgerald); and her son Andrew James. She is survived by: her son Brian Thomas (Hillary); her husband James Westerhuis; her grandchildren, Jake, Norah, Jude and Max; and her brothers, Tom of Kimball, Jim of Katy and Bob of Inwood, Iowa..
