Sharon Kuiper Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Kuiper of Platte, South Dakota, born in Geddes, South Dakota, who passed away on September 8, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Alfred and Elnora Meis (Anderson); her sisters, Elnora, Charlene Parish (Duane), Mary Haugan (Mush) and Louise Olson (Delwyn); her brothers-in-law, Vic Anthony and Paul Birnbaum; and her stepfather John Delire.
She is survived by: her son Steven (Boomer); her husband Ken; her children, Kevin Kuiper (Brenda) of Platte, SD, Luann Boyden (Jim) of Platte, SD, Douglas Kuiper (Karla) of Pierre, SD and Boomer Kuiper (Christi) of Platte, SD; her grandchildren, Myles Kuiper (Erin), Hayden Kuiper (Jacy Finney), Cody Boyden (Jenny), Jarrod Boyden (Jennifer), Butter Boydon (Taylor DenBesten), Parker Boyden (Torri), Kendra Kuiper, Kayla Gukeisen (Chris), Kenyon Kuiper and Bohde Kuiper; her great grandchildren, Owen, Mason Gukeisen, Oliver Kuiper, Kezlee, Oakley, Ethan, Hayes and Beau Boyden; and her sisters, Alice Birnbaum of Platte, SD and Lucille Anthony of Colorado Springs, CO. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in memory of Sharon to the Lake Platte Restoration Project.
