She is survived by: her parents, Otto Buist and Janet Buist (Bush) of Holland, MI.; her family, Joel Jr., Jesse, Abigail and Zachariah; her husband Joel Henri Sybesma; her children, Chelsey Ann Anfinson (Andrew) of Kenyon, MN, Joel "Jay" Henri Sybesma (Melissa) of Platte, SD, Jesse Taylor Sybesma (Sydney Evans) of Sioux Falls, SD, Abigail Christine Sybesma of Platte, SD and Zachariah Dan Sybesma (Erin) of Ree Heights, SD.; her grandchildren, Drew Anfinson, Naomi Anfinson and Joanna Henry; her mother-in-law Henrietta Sybesma of Corsica, SD.; her siblings, Timothy Buist (Anne) of Lynden, WA, Kenneth Buist (Linda) of Lynden, WA, Margaret Buist of New York, Cynthia Evenhouse (Derek) of Holland, MI, Rachel Unterborg (Karl) of New York and Rebecca Klinkman (Matt) of Holland, MI.; and her siblings-in-law, MaryJo Toering (Al) of Sioux Falls, SD, Karl Sybesma (Karla) of Platte, SD, Jon Sybesma (Jackie) of Delavan, WI, Nancy VanderPol (Steve) of Geddes, SD, Lisa Deal (John) of Selby, SD and Samuel Dean Sybesma (Tammy) of Churchill, MT.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Platte Christian Reformed Church (520 Wyoming Ave, Platte, SD 57369). A prayer will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Platte City Cemetery.
