He was predeceased by: his parents, Naomi Sara Olson (Smith) and Otis Chester Olson; his brother David L. Duus; his sister-in-law Anne Duus (Sterbenz); his sister Dian R. Sorenson (Duus); and his brother-in-law Robert Sorenson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Duus, Louie C. Olson, Calvin O. Olson (Lori) and Erlane H. Olson; and his close friend Rich Pierce. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
