She was predeceased by: her brother Butch; and her mother-in-law Audrey. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Kattke of Ramona, SD; her children, Shana Gerdes (Jason) of Sioux Falls, SD, Matthew Buck of Sioux Falls, SD, Ashley Hagberg (Dustin) of Baltic, SD, Rebecca Sevening (Rod) of Sioux Falls, SD, Tony Kattke (Ashley) of Sioux Falls, SD and Sarah Strang (John) of Waverly, SD.; her sisters, Mary Kellen (Jerry) and Vicki Aaseng (Doug); her grandchildren, Skyelar, Aubrey, Zayne, Maliyah, Benny, Alliana, Vedder, Knox and Wilder; and her great grandchild Lawson.
Ruth's family politely requests no flowers be sent for the funeral, but they prefer memorials to be sent to Children's Home Society, 801 N. Sycamore Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57110.
