He was predeceased by : his grandfathers, Sidney Smith and Dan Fredlund; his uncles, Brian Fredlund and Scott Fredlund; and his adoptive mother Lisa Smith.

He is survived by : his grandmother Leona Fredlund; his mother Kristi Smith; and his aunts and uncles, Sally Uhrig, Penney Kelley, Cindy Mertz, Jerry Smith and Terry Smith. He is also survived by numerous cousins and close friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Eagles Club (1410 Centre St, Rapid City, SD 57709).
