With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Bernice L. Berg of Rapid City, South Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Bernice left this world on July 19, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Beranek and Louise Beranek; her husband John "Jack" Berg; her son Robert; and her siblings, Mabel, Sylvia, Beatrice, Joe Jr., Leo and Edward Beranek.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Chapman of Rapid City, Ken Berg of Fort Collins, CO, John'Bruce'Berg of Harrisburg, SD and Alan Berg of St. George, UT; her grandsons, Michael, Matt (Jennifer), Tommy (Jessica), Zach (Paige), Tucker (Kyra) and Tanner; and her great grandchildren, Francis, Willow, Paisley, Bentley, Baker and Riley. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the South Park United Church of Christ (2201 3rd St, Rapid City, SD 57701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
