She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Thurman and Mary Gladys Murphy; her sister Anita Marie; and her daughter-in-law Renaye Kahler (Dave). She is survived by: her husband Richard E. Kahler (Dick); her son Rick Kahler (Marcia); her grandchildren, London and Davin; her son Dave Kahler (Renee); her great grandchildren, Lucas, Madelyn and Gwenyth; her granddaughter Brianna Satterfield (Dan); her great grandchildren, Sophia, Aidall, Olive and Benjamin; her daughter Jan Kahler; her grandson Tyler Blumenthal (Laura); her great grandchildren, Leah, Colby and Dane; and her granddaughter Nikki Davis (Kyle). She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, extended family and very close friends.
A memorial has been established to the Rapid City Christian High School Endowment Fund, Love, Inc., and Young Life.
