He was predeceased by: his parents, Roby Jenkins and Shirley Jenkins (Stewart); and his siblings, Colleen, Dorothy, Lewis and Ronald.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Deborah Jenkins (Jerry), Lisa (Terry) and John Jenkins; his grandchildren, Marcus Jeffords, Brianna Jenkins (Jimmy), Michael Johnson (Amber) and Sarra Zaatreh (Abd); and his sisters, Mary Frances Vernon of North Carolina and Dianne Jenkins of North Carolina. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
