He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Holm and Eva Holm (Wettstein); and his sisters, Patricia Haider, Margaret Moncur and Shirley Jungwirth.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Holm (Schaefers); and his children, Mel Holm (Jeanne) of Billings, MT, Ron Holm (Connie Sue) of Woodbury, MN, Diane Larsen (Troy) of Huron, SD, Donna Allerdings (Loren) of Thailand and Jeff Holm (Rose) of Moses Lake, WA. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren, numerous brothers and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cathedral (520 Cathedral Dr, Rapid City, SD 57701). Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
