Darlene Finck Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene Finck of Rapid City, South Dakota, who passed away on May 17, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gottlieb Schwartz and Pauline Schwartz (Oberlander); her husband Alton Finck; her daughters, Brenda Honeyman (Randy) and Bonita Finck; and her siblings, Margie Anderson, Dorothy Hoff, Edward Schwartz, Fredrick "Fritz" Schwartz and Donnie Schwartz.

She is survived by: her grandson Brandon Honeyman (Lindsey); her sons, Brody, Mason and Nolan; her granddaughter Gena Jones (Sawyer); her children, Summer, Stephon and Lorrie Henderson (Sturgis); her granddaughter Kristen Lunt (Sioux Falls); her children, Brooklyn and Carter; her granddaughter Desirae Kummer (Harrisburg); her children, Keegan (Alisa) and Reese; her grandson Derek Papka (Rapid City); her son Tim Finck (Amy); her granddaughter Amanda Finck (Derek); her children, Koda, Greyson and Berkley; her grandson Tyler Schwindt (Katie); her children, Aria, Logan and Aiden; her granddaughters, Amber and Grace Finck; her son Eltonjon Finck (Rapid City); her siblings, Richard Schwartz (Lois), Carol Koppinger (Harry), Gary Schwartz (Lynda) and Dianne Schwartz; and her sister-in-law Rosie Schwartz. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lutheran Church (700 S 44th St, Rapid City, SD 57702). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hettinger Lutheran Church.
