It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darlene Joyce Stido of Rapid City, South Dakota, who passed away on April 17, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Alley Comer and Donna Comer (McDaniels); her husband Charles Stido; her grandson Walter J. D. O'Rourke; and her friend Genny Liebig.

She is survived by : her daughters, Sherri Beaver (Tony), Debbie Allen Black Hawk (Ralph), Pam Lowe Black Hawk (Doug) and Kim O'Rourke (Rick); and her grandchildren, Amy Hill (Don), Angie Boyd (Jeff), Holly Beaver (Jeff), Christy Miller Black Hawk (Mark), Steve Allen Black Hawk (Jen), Michelle McGuire Black Hawk (James), Amber Foster Black Hawk (Brandon), Jeremy Lowe Black Hawk (Melanie), Brittney Brunmaier Mitchell (Garrett), Alex Eisenbraun (Taylor) and Daphne Filbert Watertown (Allen Thompson). She is also survived by 25 Great Grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Pine Lawn Memorial Park (4301 Tower Rd, Rapid City, SD 57701).
