We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2024, at the age of 90, Darrell Dee Scott of Rapid City, South Dakota, born in Bradley, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Scott and Ethel Scott (Maxson); his siblings, Maxine, Eugene, Margaret, Nellie Mae, Marie, Viola, Barbara, Maurice, Marion, Charlene and Lexi Jo Scott; his granddaughters, Lexi Jo Scott, Charlene, Marion (Maurice), Barbara, Viola, Marie, Nellie Mae, Margaret (Eugene) and Maxine; and his in-laws, Dwight and Eva Best.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Best; his children, Brad Scott (Pam), Kent Scott (Michelle) and Jana Thies (Chad); his sister Marlene; his siblings-in-law, Alice, Chuck, Roger (Sulin) and Linda; and his grandchildren, Amanda Scott, Brittany Hadfield (Chris), Bree Brimm (Dustin), Regan Scott, Brady Scott, Tylin Hillard (John), Aaron Thies and Taylor Kim (Justin). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren; plus many nephews, nieces and friends.
